Learning about TREES and exploring the WOODS in WINTER!
Since we didn't get to snowshoe....Miss Courtney says that your child is welcome to come back and do so for FREE (not sure about the rest of the family?). Wittenbach is open Sundays from 1-4 and February 1 is WINTER WAGGLE (info below) Cost: $15/ individual, $30/ family (up to 4 people) - Registration and check in begins at 9:15AM - Race time is 10 AM - Depending on conditions the race can be completed via snowshoes (available for rent), XC skis, run, walk or WAGGLE - Full 5K or 1 Mile “Fun WAGGLE” options - All participants receive a snowflake medal, hot chocolate and snacks Make sure to check out other fun WinterFest 2020 activities include: trail scavenger hunts, recreational snowshoeing, winter paper crafts, Woodcraft bird feeder building, and meet a few of the wolves from Howling Timbers Wolf Sanctuary. Register at the Lowell YMCA front desk, or call 616.897.8445. Registration can be done the day of the race. |
